Tire Kebab Recipe (Tire Köfte)

Directions

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, grated onion, bread crumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Shape the mixture into small, elongated patties. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the köfte until browned on all sides, then set aside. In the same skillet, add the sliced tomatoes and green peppers. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the peppers are tender. In a separate small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and stir in the paprika until combined. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Arrange the fried köfte in a baking dish and pour the cooked tomatoes and peppers over them. Drizzle the melted butter and paprika mixture on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through. Serve hot with a side of rice or bread, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
