Minced Meat Pide Recipe (Kıymalı Pide)

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute. Stir in tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, green pepper, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for another 5-10 minutes until the mixture is well combined and heated through. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into oval shapes about 1/4 inch thick. Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching the ends to seal.
  5. Brush the edges of the dough with beaten egg.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and crispy. Serve warm.
