Turkish Caramelized Milk Pudding Recipe (Kazandibi)

Directions

In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and rice flour. Stir continuously over medium heat until the mixture thickens. Once thickened, add vanilla extract and mix well. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Cook on low heat until the bottom turns golden brown. Once the top is set, carefully flip the dish onto a serving plate to reveal the caramelized bottom. Allow it to cool before slicing. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with cinnamon or pistachios.
